    I really like the wheels.

What does one have to do to get those offset wheels on there? Just a bunch of spacer?

I like the wheels on your car since they stray from ordinary wheels typically used on these types of cars. And the design is known to be lighter than some others which is just an added bonus, IMO.

In fact.. I've been eyeing these up for some time as well. The red accents suit me just fine or they could be color matched to any color desired.

You know, that is dangerous and will break your wheel studs. Nobody will let you on a race track with spacers. And if you don't believe me, I can show you thousands of forum posts that prove that fact.

    :p

I guess if you put those spacers on and run your car like you do, they will pretty much hold up to anything!

They are custom built bolt on spacers. There are guys out here with more power and experience than I using them.

I've actually looked into those. I was informed that they are hard to deal with and take a long time to fill orders. But nice wheels.

Love the car! But not a fan of those wheels, I liked your old ones.

By the way, my last post was completely "tongue in cheek".

I was joking about how many people say that spacers will break everything, then we see you on all the websites and magazines racing pretty hardcore on them, and no issues at all!

those hoops would be a ways off for me still.. but really good info to know!.. thanks.

I think everyone knew you were joshin', bud. :D

And if you think about it.. what's probably stronger?... shallower quality built rims with billet spacers pinned on with chromemoly bolts?.. or similarly offset deep dish cast aluminum rims with no spacers and regular old bolts?

I've always liked the FR500 wheels, I think they look pretty good on the car. Wheels have to be the hardest thing to pick...

Spacers are great till you see them fail or strip out. Then they are not so great.I have delt with a few sets that have failed or stripped out in my time. I would personally not run them but that is my own opinion.
