And just purchased a 1974 Maverick Grabber today I will post pics as soon as I bring her to the shop this weekend. It has to be one of the highest optioned and best looking examples I've ever seen. Looking forward to enjoying the forum and finding some parts I might need. HAPPY TURKEY DAY YA'LL.
welcome and congrats, there's always people willing tho help out on here. cant wait to see pics and progress
Welcome! I can't wait to see some pictures of this 74 Grabber. You have to have 10 posts, before it lets you upload pics...so you can start by commenting to some of the other new members in this sub-forum, if you aren't ready to post in the main forums. After 10 posts....one way to upload photos is (this is the harder way that displays the full picture in your post): click on the "community" pulldown at the top..."your photos and albums"..."upload".....follow through with uploading your photo/s...once you have gone back and found your photo, and clicked on a photo you have uploaded.... ...right-click on the photo...(if using Chrome Browser, then choose copy image URL"....if using Explorer Browser, then choose "properties", and copy the Address URL)....(it also shows the "direct link code" below the pic, if you want to copy the image URL that way) ...You then have to click the "little yellow and gray box with a mountain symbol " at the top of the message window (the one you are typing in when you are typing your post)....you then PASTE that image URL into the box it gives you. Once you enter that, your photo will show up in the post you are typing. Whew! After all of that babbling...I think I would be afraid to post photos this way as a new member It's easier to just attach photos if that is your preference...and you should be able to figure that out by playing around with the controls.
from Northeast Pennsylvania I see you live in my most favorite place on earth - love the car cruises at Old Town - never miss one when I'm down to visit the mouse
Old Town Not what it used to be But still kinda ok. Next time you get down this way contact me and stop by the shop.
We like pictures!!! Last time I was down near Old Town, things have really changed...we use to stay at the Days Inn next door...not these days...
..."time to cook the bird"... Me too....while having fun checking out the Mav/Comet forum...I've been helping the kids and wife cook a pre-Thanksgiving dinner on the side. (my wife doesn't like her mom's cooking on Thanksgiving...so we are making a backup dinner )... ...having turkey...noodles...mashed potatoes...green bean caserole...rolls...cranberry sauce...and pecan pie...whew! I hope I don't eat too much!
