The 7.25 rears in the first year Maverick were 4 lug so you might have some rare "innerds" behind that back cover :bananaman

i would bet the spider gears are welded up in that rear end. ive never seen any gears for the 7.25 but thats not to say they were never available. i am looking forward to seeing what it has. pull that cover and take some pics!

Mavi GT? Never heard of that before. Was this aftermarket dealership thing, or rare factory?

Those last pictures of yours are Transmission ,planetary gears. The Three carbs, and traction bars equal tire burning power! Just one of those Hollys woke up my 200 cc 1970- six ,and it came off an air compressor 302 ford v-8. (y) :chirp:

10 second car? YES, The carbs, traction bars ,and the shifter say MOPOWER!! I would guess to say that the C-4 could have some hi po gearing. What do yall think? The video has a good flowmaster and wicked sounding cam .:chirp: :racingflag:

It does have a stall converter, I don't know what yet but it is in there, I have to rev it quite a bit to get it moving. :D
I have never seen what is inside a transmission, never bothered to try and learn about them, always had a friend do trans. work for me, just drop it off and pick it up when done, I have drove this car, not far but I did drive it, it moves pretty good, just had no brakes so I had to be careful.

Reving the car to get it moving is not good for the trans. Smell the trans fluid for burnt smell (strong smell), burnt smell is bad. Check the trans fluid level regularly. Stall converters can be expensive! They are usually used with a radical Camshaft,as in racing.:tiphat: :16suspect
