Did you use a fabricated strut tower or did you Fab them? Iv got mine almost cut out and trying to decide which way to go. I realize this pics a couple years old but maybe...
I cut around 2 1/2 inches out of them and welded them back in. It took some manipulating to get them formed close enough to weld . I used some body shop style vise grips to clamp everything together . I wanted the towers to have the original shape but if I was doing it again I would probably buy the AJE towers just because it would be less fabricating . Let me know if you have any more questions .
