Mark, I hope you are willing to share some info with me about your car. I owned a 74 "orange and white" Grabber also. I have spent last 4 years trying to locate it. I bought mine in 1983, and sold it in 1985-1986. Your photos have me believing that it is possible you may own the car I sold in 85-86.? Do you know if your car came from South Dakota in the last 15 or so years? I rebuilt 302 when I owned it, put "homemade" dual exhaust on it, air shocks, originally (and when I owned it) had a floorshift automatic transmission. What really caught my eye, is the cracks in the decals on hood are in exact same locations as my car had, and the orange paint and rock chips under bottom orange stripe. I was always told that the orange paint under bottom orange decal on sides of car was not original, and that somebody prior to me had painted it. I am very, very interested in knowing if you may possibly own the car that I once built as my dream car. I would love to send you a couple photos of it when I had it at its prime ( new craiger mags, nice white letter tires, VERY clean, and a sharp, fast car. Any coorespondence is grealy appreciated. I wish you luck in your restoration process. Thanks so much, Tom Blain Hermosa, SD 605-716-1111
Sorry Tom, I responded to your PM, but not your car. This is a car that lived its whole life in Storm Lake, Iowa. It's also a 3 spd manual.
