Run the vent hose from the front grommet location that you currently have a filter on to the can. The can should have a provision for the filter....

That makes sense of you think about it. I was thinking backwards.larger bore master would make it shorter travel.
Speedway has some universal 4 link kits. I'd think if you can fab and weld at all would work pretty well. They use similar kits for air ride.

If it's an off the shelf unit I'd be sceptical of the actual stall speed. You'd do better calling a reputable builder. I bought an FTI converter...
