I am the proud new owner of a 71' Maverick . It has a stock 200 in it and three on the tree. Some rust here and there. The question I have is what was the standard grill in these cars? My grill is badly busted,ready to fall out. I have seen that the grills on other Mavericks have lights in them. Is this stock or an option? Mine has no lights. I would like to find a grill with round lights,like mustang,in them. Is there such a grill? Or are they just stock rectangular lights. If so where can I get one? Thanks
71 grille Hi. Your 71 maverick came with a grille that had no signals in it. They (signals) are under the bumper I think. If you want to have signals in the grille you can buy a used grille on E-Bay or from one of the maverick members.You will need the lite assembly for each side also. If you want a new grille that takes signal lites then I have one brand new, never in a car, still in the box. Hope this helps. Ron.
