    I HAVE A 1972 COMET DRAG CAR ,I NEED TO KNOW IF BUMPERS ARE THE SAME AS A 1972 MAVERICK?

    Original 72 Sprint Owner, 71 Comet GT, 57 Ranchwagon, 57 4 dr Wagon
    The rear bumper is the same. If you have bumper guards, the spacing is a little narrower for the Comet although it will still bolt on and is usable. The front is different.

    THANKS FOR THE INFORMATION,I WAS LOOKING FOR FIBERGLASS BUMPERS AND ALL I COULD FIND WAS FOR MAVERICKS.IF YOU KNOW OF ANYONE THAT WOULD HAVE SOME FOR A 1972 COMET PLEASE LET ME KNOW

    I don't think that anyone makes them in fiberglass for the Comet.

    Where is Lincolnton?
    I'm in the Raleigh/Cary area of NC.

    You could make some bumpers if you dont mind getting itchy for a couple of nights
