    Does anyone happen to have a "clean" copy of the Comet logo that could be used for digitization purposes? I've attached a copy of the Maverick logo as an example of what I am looking for.

    This would be used to make embroidered Comet shirts and jackets....:)

    Would a scan of an actual fender emblem work?

    It might, but I tried something like that awhile ago with not-so-good results. Does the owner's manual have the comet logo on it? That might work better if someone's got one...

    And the word "Comet" in script....Would a picture of an emblem help. Or how about a gas cap with the mercury logo & Comet name on it?

    I have some Ford ad mats from the 70's, the one's they would use to set up newspaper ads, I'll dig them out and see what there is.
