Hey im sure some of you guys visited my previous post about my bad idle and buildup on the spark plugs. In addition to the issue I do have a new coil as well so that isnt the problem either. Im taking the advice ans ditching the points but am having trouble identifying the 200ci's distributor so far all I see is a Motorcraft D2DF 12127 with a 1K5 below it. In the 12127's listed on Pentronix's list they are all followed by letter such as 12127AA, so do the letters matter and if so where can I find them?

Don't worry about the suffix, some have them and some don't...

The 1K5 is a code date for 1971, Oct 5, or day the dist was built...

So the suffix shouldnt matter when I chose the pertronix pont to electric ignition conversion?
