Firewall Insulation

I was looking into installing firewall insulation over the dynamat that I have installed. I was also looking into quietride firewall insulation but the feedback I found said it didn't fit well.

Whay is your experiences and thoughts?

 

I used a combination of these:

The liner is thinner and self adhesive. The pad has a thick rubber section in the middle and is much heavier.

I used liner on the firewall and a combination of pad and a lead lined product they no longer sell on the floor.

Yes, the nice thing about Dynaliner, is you can get it in different thicknesses.

 

I used dynaliner on the roof of the car.
