    Hi I'm Evans, and I,ve joined your fourm in hopes of getting some ideas on fixing up my old 66 mercury comet.
    :mad: (My girlfriend calls it the "vomit comet) :huh:
    For starters does anyone know where I might find a steering column?

    Welcome,, I would check ebay daily for a steering column. Use Fairlane in your search also. Has to be some out there somewhere.

    Don't quote me on this but if memory serves, you might look in some falcons too. Don't know if the column interchanges but Falcon and Comet shared some steering parts.
