I have a 1974 2 door maverick,250,automatic.It has a engine miss.I have replaced distributor, points, condenser, plugs, plugwires, coil, voltage regulator, starter.Still has engine miss.It gets worse when you get above 45.Also,tried to install rpm gauge, the needle would hardly move.Hook it up to a 68 ford truck and it worked fine.Any suggestions?

Electrical area seems covered, what about the alternator? What about a clogged fuel filter?
