It's not, but the only "easy" clutch pedal setup is the factory Z-bar type which limits your choice of transmissions and requires parts that might as well be made from unicorn sh!t so what's the difference? (also, headers?) People on this board have done the hydraulic setup and told us how they did it. The parts aren't cheap but at least they can be had.
As far as i've searched and asked No one has done a manual swap to a car with power brakes. Everyone said it's impossible. So look's like i'll have to bust that myth..... Anywho enough off topic talk. I think we would all agree to this(remember he has a 70 which had all drums and small drums in the rear as well): upgrade to front discs > upgrade rear brakes > Power brake setup....
Yep. Disc brakes up front before anything else. After that go power or rear disc or both... Honestly as light as these cars are, many people say front disc manual is enough. Four disc manual is good too, and so is disc/drum power. I like being able to stop on a dime but all you really need is to stop as fast as the '08 Civic in front of you. As for as busting myths. Hell yes. When/if I go to a manual transmission I will not be giving up the power brakes. Just like I refuse to let my 351w swap cost me power steering, power brakes or AC.
I did not say that just because I want to sell parts ,I never want to sell parts everyone knows that ,And I have 10 sets and all the boasters have been rebuilt
He will also need the correct shock tower brace for the power brakes, or figure out how to fabricate one that will work. I have power disc brakes on my driver and they work great. My parts car has the manual brakes and they do require more force on the pedal but they do work.
