Next year is just around the coner! I know you have the headers on, so what else do you have to do to go racing this spring?

Now Eddie don't make me come up there and drag you out of bed to get working on it because I might not do something just right. And we all know it must be done right.

Just kidding ya, I'm sure your going to be ready but call me if yuo need any help.
Well my pill is kickin now I've only been typing for 20 minutes

Im close had alot of other things going on.

Had to put a clutch in the truck , just put brake pads on it

    alot of little other things:(

been changing jobs also...and i dont make millions , every dollar i get right now gos into the mav...

far as parts i need...alternator, shifter, gears, mini spool, front tires, seat harness thats most of then i have a belt , lower rad hose, gotta figure something with my throttle cable... got my seat mounted other day, tranny lines are ran to a cooler;) , hood scoop cause i dont need to tell you that a 351w is kinda tall:D i have an air gap intake so thats not helping, ill prolly just go with a GT scoop.

but now i am back to work full time so money is coming in and things are getting rolling.
If i have time/money i want a set of caltracs if not ill just go with a set of cheapies for a while.

ive been slacking latly but gotta get my butt out of bed and get in gear:D

March 3rd track opens, im goin to try for first weekend in april to be out there.

Of course if i need anything ill give ya a buzz

Well Don, I'm just sittin on my backside because I don't have to start racing again until about april. Nothing to do to the car, the last race of the season the car ran great so it's just covered up waiting for spring.

I guess there are good and bad things to say about only having 3 to 4 weeks between seasons. The bad is really not enough time to do a lot and the cost is right at Xmas.

The good is you don't get a big itch to go racing after 3 months (dec, jan and feb) and still have 1 long month to go.

I wish I had your problem... I hate the cold! I'm getting closer to 50 now and my body hurts when the temp falls below 60 and besides who doesn't enjoy racing?

I expect you to kick some butt again this season. No reason you can't end the 07 season with another bracket final under your belt.

One more thing, I sold the motorhome, was I ever glad to see it go!

Don I hope you and I can go racing together sometime. Looks like I'm taking a left and going for about 2500 or until I got to the track so we could put some chevy on the trailer:clap:

God bless and have a great Xmas

    Terry

eddie, your really brave saying that all the way from wv.:D i'm not getting old, just more experienced.:yup: really that means i've just about learned all the ways to lose.

hey terry, glad to hear the car's in good shape. my motors coming apart completely tomorrow to freshen. hope everythings okay. been 3 years with only 2 lifters and rocker arm studs breaking this season. i got rid of my motorhome also, however i did buy a new 5th wheel. you going to be at the roundup this year? if so i should see you there. been a couple of years since FFW in virginia. looking forward to it. have a merry christmas and a happy new year. Eddie I'm sure it will be in April, just let me know when you'll ready and we'll go.

Don I'm planning on being at the roundup in 07 so if your there I guess we have some catching up to do. Hey maybe we can find Dennis and see what he 's lost this time. He's really good at losing his keys:biglaugh:

Gota go, be good and have a safe and blessed holiday.

P.S. Eddie... GET OFF YOUR BUTT and FINSH the CAR!

can't say to much about the keys. got 100 miles from home on the way to last years roundup, stopped for fuel and realized i picked up the wrong set of keys and couldn't get the rear door down on the trailer. cost me a lot to get them as the wife decided to bring them to owensboro herself. she flew in to louisville and rented a car and came on down.

tore the motor down the other day. looks real good. new bearings, gaskets, oil pump and rings will be here friday. then it's going back together.:D
