I've got 245/40-17 on the front and 285/40-17 on the rear but mine isn't finished yet so i don't know if i'm going to have any issues.
I sure hope not. Iv'e had a lot of problems getting this thing done and it needs to be ready so i can run the autocross at good guys in Kissemee in apr.

That is a lot of tire on both ends.

I jacked mine up today, and checked it out. The 225 wide front tires are almost rubbing on the front fender, but I did not realize that they hit at the back inside part when I turn full chock, as well.

I will have to go with WAY less tire next time around.

Not sure if the Rod and Custom front suspension turns sharper than the stock setup, or what. I never noticed that it rubbed the back prior to this install.

On stock cars that I have built, I just added brackets somewhere as turn stops so that would not happen. Some spindles have stop areas cast right in the spindles. I haven't looked at mine yet to see where the stops could be mounted.

Same principal as a carb throttle stop to prevent it from going too far and causing carb damage (y)
