Go w/ that first rollin thunder you listed,w/ 1.6 rockers it has a 520 lift & not to much duration,would be very snappy with out being overkill & I believe would work well w/ your combo.With this cam I also believe you`ll have no piston to valve issues.
As mentioned in post #5, that Edelbrock cam is a pig. Something isn't right with the @.050 duration figures vs, advertised duration given in the first post. IIRC, when I had that cam the @.050 figures were close to 270*, not the 227*/234* listed.
I decided stage 2 trick flow would be a little much for my 351w Im gonna go w a stage 1 .499 and .510 221 225 @ .050 and 275 279 @ .006 should be a torque monster and have nice driveability and still haul ass.
"fast ezefi retrofit efi" I know on my stock EFI motor when I went carb. they recommended a...carb. cam...replacement...longer duration. I don't know if it would be any advantage to go...EFI cam...shorter duration. may check with Fast and see what they say. ......
