Throttle cable

So you have no issues with the cable dragging on the cable housing when you operate the pedal? Which pedal are you using? Is it the pedal with a clevis or the later model one with the nylon bushing in it?

 

No issues at all. I'm using the early pedal for a 71

 

How did you attach the cable to the pedal?

 

I used the factory plastic tab

 

i also took the dual screw mount off the old cable and used it as a bracket for my lokar throttle cable. worked like a charm.

 

Lokar is the only way to go tranny or throttle cable
