hello to all, I am the proud owner of a mercury comet, that i purchased as a project vehicle. I originally wanted a 70-72 maverick, but could not find one locally. when this rough comet became available, I purchased it with the hopes of transforming it into a brazilian style maverick gt. The comet did not have any running gear and it was originally a 6 cyl. Last month, I purchased a 75 mustang ghia in hopes of using the 302, trans, and front end. I believe it can be a very nice vehicle when completed. So far I have replaced the floor pans, and rear fenders, installed 64 t-bird taillights, & shaved the drip rails. As I continue to work on this project, I know that I will need help from people that know far more than I do about my car, and it's eventual destination. With that being said, thank you.
Welcome aboard. Lots of good info here. It looks like you made the T-Bird lights work very well with the Comet rear tail light panel.
