    you have to shorten the long side axle tube to except a short side axle. cut the old brackets off and add a pair of spring perches... I think Dennis Martin did a how to write up on the prosess...

    Let me see if I can find someone local that does this and the cost.....sounds like great alternative....Maybe 71Gold buddy does this will check with him.
