    Will a 28oz balancer from an early (1974) 302 fit and work on a 1977 351w?

    I am not 100% but I thought the 351 had a larger balancer than the 289 - 302.

Yes, all 28oz balancers will interchange..... Some earlier ones are a little smaller diameter and some have different timing mark positions..... Those 2 should have the same timing mark positions.....
