Dude.. that's cool! Go Big bumpers! lol.. I actually prefer the big bumpers to the little ones.. but I've never done any converting as such..... Just wanted to cheer you on, that's all :)

:49: Well, you can probably get a number of people to trade you out the parts you need but quite honestly you are the first person I have ever heard of going "to" the big bumpers. :hmmm: I'm kinda hoping you just made a typo because most everyone else is going the opposite way. If it's not a typo, you should be getting lots of response to this posting.

Due to the weight of the bumpers and the giant bolts and threaded inserts Ford used and welded into the front and rear frame rails ... I'm guessing a small to large bumper swap is going to be much harder than going large to small ...

The tail light panels are the same. I do believe the rear crossmember is much sturdier to support the weight so you will need to cut that out of another car or reinforce the one you got.

I wish more people were going to the BIG bumpers...I just put mine out at the dumpster a few weeks ago, because nobody was interested in them. Almost MINT condition. I hope someone came by and picked them up.

Mine went into the dumpster. I thought they would make good substitutes for the concrete parking space bumpers.
