All I had to purchase extra was the 95 mustang e-brake cables, and Brake tube adapters (2 needed) 1/4" to 3/16" Edelmann p#258340.

With this kit, the rest comes with it.

Since I had it all apart, I opted to put in new bearings (EXPENSIVE!!!), and new steel brake lines with the green coating. Mine were just plain aluminum.

Since I could not get the bearings off with my press setup, I paid $20 to have them pressed off. I was able to press the new ones on myself.

VERY easy job. The only time-consuming part was the grinding of the axle, as mentioned above. The rest went together easily.

    UPDATE!

Got the ebrake cables connected, and adjusted. THIS was the hardest part of the job.

Would have been much easier on a lift and with an extra set of hands, but on the ground and by oneself, PITA!

Also, the rear calipers DO NOT FIT my 15" cragars. They would likely fit a newer 15" rim, but there is a bump in the back inside edge that is rounded, I think it is part of the 2-piece design, that hits the caliper.

So, snowball...need new rear rims before MCCI meet in July.

Looks great. I noticed the bleeder too. LOL
Had a jeep come in for no brake pedal way back. Guy put all new brakes on himself. Cant get a pedal. Front calipers were on the wrong sides. Ok any back yarder can make that mistake right?? Too bad this guy was an Aviation mechanic at the airport!!

So, they won't clear stock 14" wheels?

Probably not stock 14" wheels. 15" would clear but these cragar 2-piece wheels have a hump right here that just barely touches the outside edge of the caliper.

If your 14" wheels did not have a hump there, they might fit.

You can see where it rubs that chamfer around the top left part of this picture.

Looks like it just rubs slightly scoop. Can you buzz a bit off the caliper where it rubs or is it too big an area on the caliper?

I eventually wanted 17" rims, anyway, this just forces me to get them sooner rather than later.

Besides, I don't want to start grinding on wheels or brake parts and possibly weaken their structural integrity.

I don't screw around when it comes to stopping. I might mess around with going fast, but not stopping or steering.

Put a 1/8" spacer behind the wheel.

Might buy me time until I can afford the new rims.

1/8" did not work, but 1/4" DID!!!

    Saved me $400!!!

And that will give me that extra 1/4" to see how 4.0 BS will work with new rims.

Id sooner sand the caliper a tad than use a spacer.

    Just temporary fix.

I still plan on buying new rims, 17" all the way around, but after this front end swap, rear disk swap, and working on the pinion angle, I ain't got much cash left over to play with.

And summer break, so I lost all my counseling clients for 3 months. Which is a large cut in my pay...
