I like it... My father gave me a beautiful 70 sedan deville when I was 19 and everybody wanted to ride with me...lol... Oh! and the 472 had enough power to do burn outs all day long.... I loved that car, and gas was less than 50 cents a gal...

My grandfather owned nothing but Caddy's as far back as I can remember and there's surely not many better cars for a "bad back". Railroad tracks feel like tiny little potholes that get soaked right up as you fly across them at 40 mph.

And while that looks to be a really clean example(it better be for that kind of change), I do have to agree with Dave on this one. They made tons of those cars and there are still a few "estate cars" in decent condition floating around.

If you were to trade off both your cars for something like that?.. I give you a year until your back tires of all that comfort and no performance and you start searching for another GT. Grass is always greener.. and all that stuff.

Only YOU can decide what YOU want to do. If you feel those cars will realistically never get done.....then......

This one is the color I like and I personally have not seen one as clean looking (in the pics). There were only like 65k of them made that year. So there not quite a dime a dozen as they are disapering in this condition. There are allot of Cadi's out there though.
Dave, my hair is still brown. So is my skin :rofl2:

They will.. eventually. I would just like to make a leap. I do love my cars. And I would love the Cadi also. I'd be happy with either.. I just thought I would throw the idea out there.

Cruise the parking lots of any Home Town Buffet around 4pm. You will find those and lots of Lincoln Town cars and other full sized Oldsmobuicks.
Gene, if you get a car like that you are going to have to change your wardrobe. You will need to get white pants belts and white shoes.

We kid, because we like you. :biglaugh:
