The mav is gone but i'm still here!
^If you have a 72 id just run a 76 tank in it. You can get it at any NAPA auto parts. The only mod you need to do is replace the bolts that hold down the straps with longer ones.

I'm getting ready to put my Mustang tank in my 70 soon. I got the tank kit from Kentucky Mustangs for around $100 inc. sending unit. It's the made in Canada one with the drain. I'm going to move the rt side of the trunk floor over to fit, but I am going to lap and spot weld the panels in...then seal the seams and hit it with some splatter paint.

I'm hoping a Cherry Bomb muffler will still fit in the rear, but if not I'll have it mounted under the floor when I do the exhaust.

Hey guys I will get you more pics of the inside of the trunk , I only have a few more pics taken when we took it to my dad , this was on 11/7/2009 , the car has been sitting at my moms since then and I have not had a chance to get back on it , my father passed away in January from prostate cancer so I was just glad for him to be able to drive it one last time before he got really ill in December .
