:bananaman Just got my new (to me) '73 Maverick, 2-door, LDO trim, 302, auto with the shifter on the floor and buckets, air, and power steering. It's Green with Tan Interior. Original owner from Florida.

Let me tell ya....this is the 17th car I have purchased (doesn't sound like much, but I'm 25 years old), and when I was picking it up from the shipping terminal I was like the most excited I ever was picking up a car. Don't get me wrong, I love my 74 "Comrick" (which will be on ebay next week), but there is something about this car......

The guy pulled it out from the holding yard and even before he turned the corner I could hear the rumble of straight piped 302. Despite the fact that it had about an inch of dust and dirt on it, and it's not in 110% perfect condition, in my eyes it still looked great!

Got it home and showed my old man. Its kinda a gift from me to him and myself. He was so happy. Took it for a ride around the block and when he got out he said "the neighbors are gonna hate us!"

I know this is a long and usless post for others to read, but my excitement got the best of me when I logged in.

Hey Scott.....after next week when I get the plates I'll be up for that meet you have been talking about.

Well, if you made it this far, thanks for reading! And thanks in advance for everyone that will help me in the future. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions and need plenty of parts while we put some work into it.

I found nothing useless about this post and in fact, found it too short. Keep the updates comming.

I'm still waiting on my stickers, maybe they don't really want me in the club, after all, I cut up perfectly good parts, just to be different. Steve, still want those wheels? Don't let that spare go with the comrick!
