Lot's of pics here https://www.facebook.com/puck.galaf...74711568896.1073741827.100007391404046&type=1
Wow!.. I like it. Has lots of the things I've dreamt of. Engine shoved way back.. cantilever suspension setup.. fender vents.. dry sump and stack injection. I've imagined that hood before too. Very nice design. Just wish there were more pic's.
Likely somebody already posted but here's a link. http://finalspec.com.br/2013/11/07/x-treme-motorsports-2013/
The hood looks cool and the stance looks good. Other than that, it's pretty hideous. I give credit for doing something different from the norm as far as engineering & fabrication though.
Yep, very similar to what I've thought about doing to a flat hood by opening up the front angled surface.
I built a dirt late model with cantilever suspension and really liked it. A lot of fine tuning available. Nice car. SPark
Thanks for that link. Now that I've seen more detail and we're all in nitpicking mode.. the engineering apsects are great.. execution?.. not so much. The square holed.. "we had an extra box of cutoff wheels handy and just figured what the hell".. fender vents don't do the concept justice without some stainless mesh inserts to hide the guts. Just looks unfinished to me and works against the rear fender/front door edges natural curvature. Curved to match that seam would have been much better looking, IMO. The molded gauge pods on the dash are likely where I'm going to be heading too.. but not sure about the top profile design of the pods. Wish we could see more hi-res pic's of all angles as well as the interior. Any of you Facebook junkies out there feel like contacting this owner/builder to ask if he can give us forum guys a better peek at this thing? Maybe at least give some other links with more pic's?
Overall I really like and applaud the effort. Pro Touring to the extreme with a Maverick. Some well thought out engineering. But, there are things I don't care for, mostly those fender vents. Love the hood though…...
