Maybe I should ask the previous owner if he rented the car out for the movies? I didn't own the car until late 2012. I'd say it's a 72, anyway, because of the chrome taillights. Then again, it may not be a "REAL" Grabber...:16suspect Actually, I found this too:
There is one in Dark Shadows too. It's close to the beginning, dark blue small bumper 2dr. It's actually in there twice, once driving in town and the second time you can see it through the window of the bar. There is also what looks like a 70 Mach I, red with black stripes.
i love how the maverick is the only small bright colored car to represent the 70s cars in this movie. every thing else is dull and huge. i believe that is is one of the contributing factors to the popularity of the maverick.
Hi Guys, This is my '72 Maverick Grabber, filmed in Glasgow, Scotland, UK a couple of years ago. Although its difficult to tell, it is also in the bridge shot where Halle Berry is in the wee Beetle, seemed to have edited out all the other cars that were on the bridge with me during filming :bananaman Oh and I got to do the driving!
