I am having some electrical gremlins. No turn signals, no brake lights but all running lights work, no instrument cluster lights, dome light works, windshield wipers work, headlights work, I checked all the fuses and they are good. Seems to be some corrosion on the surface of the firewall that the fuse panel mounts to. Looking for suggestions on how to fix this issue.

    Thank you

the turn signal and brake lights both go through the turn signal switch.
i would check with a test light to see if you have power going to the brake light switch first just because thats the easiest thing to check. i would expect you will have power.

to check the turn signal switch you need to get to its plug at the base of the dash where the column meets it. then using a wiring diagram check the power into the switch and the power out of the switch. this should point you in the direction of the problem.

the flasher could cause no turn signals but the brake lights should still work.

the dash lights are mostly on a different circuit than the other lights. chances are they are all just burn out. they should all be the same age and seen the same use so its conceivable that they are all bad.

unbolt your fuse box and make sure the wire behind the clips has not corroded off. Also make sure your clips themselves are ok.

The dash lights, I replaced with LED, Im thinking just a few of the LED's mite be in backwards. I need to figure out a way to test them.
Thank you for the helpfull information. Ill give an update after I get a chance to look at it again.

    Thank you! (y)
