i know, i thought maybe I can zoom in on his pic and look at the boomerangs...LOL

I did go out and try to force them on. I sometimes loose control of things and well, I forced it under the drip rail and snapped it in place. When I turned the top in to fit the screw I kinda bent the boomerang and cracked the chrome plating. This is why I cant have nice things. :)
I have way more things that need to be done inside, so I am moving on. I someday need to take it back to the shop and have a proper spoiler put on. I am half tempted to just have the boomerangs deleted at this time.

Oh, here is a clearer pic of the drip rail back.

i know its not cool to revive old threads, but I wanted to circle around and let you know I got the boomerangs to fit today. Here was the problem incase anyone else has it...
at the back bottom of the drip rail there is a notch for the boomerang to fit in. My chrome trip acutally covered that hole about 1/4 of the way. So the hole was to small. The top of the boomerang was hitting the chrome cover of the drip rail. I put a covered screw drive in the slot of the drip rail, pried the chrome trip away from the body, thus opening the whole. After that, the boomerang fit into place.
