Maverick frontend track width

    Anyone one the trackwidth of a maverick frontend hub to hub?

    I take it that is measured outside to outside of the front tires?

    ok, so same as rearned then
    Just was looking at a DSE X-gen front clip, but they only have options for 53.5 anf 59.5

    No, it's measured from wheel mounting surface to wheel mounting surface.

    I'm sure you'll correct me if I'm wrong here.. but isn't that the measurement for the early Stang's?

    Too lazy to look right now.. but 54.5 seems to stick in my memory for some odd reason. Course.. the old memory ain't what it used to be though.. and it seems like something new bumps out something old the more I try to cram in there. lol

    Or maybe that's the rear end width of our cars?

    The front and rear track for Mavericks is the same. 56-1/2 inches.

    59.5" would be more bearing friendly since the off set of the wheel would allow the bearing to be more to the center of the wheel. This would allow you could remedy the width issue with a wheel with a late model backspacing. You might also have a little better turning radius. The only down side I could think of would be not being able to retain your wheels and differences in front to rear off set/backspacing making it impossible to rotate the tires.
