hello i just inherited a 1975 maverick from my girlfreinds dad was i6 but he swapped a 302 in 1992 . would love to here any advice or insight on my first pre 80's project .

I'm starting to restore it but having some trouble like i have two leaks in the power steering system i think one is a hose and one from the rack.

My biggest question is there two conectors in the engine bay near driver side shock tower look like par of the harness would anyone know what that could be

I raised my car to get under it with degreaser and a power washer to remove the old grease and grime then looked at everything a few days later to see where the fluid was coming from. In my case I found that all of the hose fittings were leaking. These cars are old and there is a possibility that nothing has ever been replaced. At first I replaced the hoses but then I went nuts and ended up replacing everything, not only with the power steering but the tie rods, pitman arm and sway bar bushings. Now there are zero leaks and the car handles just like brand new.
