    73 Maverick / 2000 Harley Low Rider
    Has anyone replace the factory steering with Rack & Pinion? and if so, what did you use and was it difficult? Need some pointers. I have a '73 Mav 302.

    i have, a lot of work.. but its doable. used an 87 cavalier rack, you loose a little turning radius. use a gm type 2 steering pump. try to match the lower control arm angle as close as possible to avoid bump steer.

    Uni-Steer if you want to retain stock setup
    fatman has a R&P/Strut conversion that still retains shock towers
    R&C motorsports MII kit if you want to delete shock towers
    AME if you want c6 suspension
