I really don't know what fenders are worth, but are early fenders worth more because you don't have to notch them if you are doing a small bumper conversion? I have a set that I'm going to switch out with the ones on my '72 Grabber, so these ones will go up for sale once that happens. Junrai called me today and it sounds like he might have someone interested in them, but we talked a few days ago and have no idea what they're worth. Any help would be appreciated.

Depends on how straight they are and if they have any rust.

Sheet metal gets top dollar around the rust belt. These prices are JMHO from what I have seen around here.

If they need some TLC - $25-$50 range
If they need nothing but sanding and paint - $125-$150
    NOS -$300

Deduct off that if they have the trim holes - nobody ever seems to want those ............ :p

Thanks for the responses. They are in good condition with no rust, but the only reason I am getting rid of them is because of the trim. The other set I have has no trim and are also in good condition with no rust, so I figured I could save some money in the long run by using those and not paying to fill in all of the holes.

If you can't get good $$, I would keep them. If you ever get into a fender bender, you might not be able to find parts to fix your car that are as nice as what you have. In regards to early vs. late model, it is no big deal. Late fenders can easily be modified to a notch configuration.

I was actually thinking the same thing. It might be a good idea to have some extra parts, just in case.

I've found large body parts such as doors and fenders to be almost worthless. Too big/heavy and too much of a pain to ship, so you have to find local buyers. Not many people are looking for them and they aren't willing to pay much for them if you happen to find somebody local that needs one. I'll probably end up keeping a couple spares and just dumping all of the other spare fenders, doors, etc. that I have. It's a shame as they're rust-free and straight.
