Hey everybody, I'm truly sorry I haven't been on the forums in quite a long time, but I have a rather peculiar issue that I've noticed for some time but cannot seem to figure out.

When driving around, after a while, my passenger side floor gets very wet. (Sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't) I decided to err on the side of caution and replace the heater core when I replaced my blower motor since I'd only have to do it in one swift go. Now that I've got a nice heater I didn't think much of the past issue until recently I got a wild hair to feel the passenger side floor again and lo and behold, it's still wet after driving. It doesn't smell like antifreeze (though I suppose it *could* be a bad replacement heater core), and my A/C is completely disconnected so I'm at a complete loss of an explanation. Does anybody have an explanation or an idea as to how to fix this???

I would say your cowl on passenger side drain vent is clogged and pin hole rust spots are letting the water that's sitting in the cowl leak down to your floor pan

Could also be a leaking windshield seal. Run some water into the cowl vents and see if you get water dripping inside. If not, then run water over the windshield seal and check for same.

You know what... Now that I think about it, the windshield could be leaking because when it rains water runs down the inside A pillar.. Could it be possible that when it's slightly humid outside, it accumulates and drains in? It doesnt always have to be raining for me to feel a wet floor, but it's a relatively intermittent problem. I haven't noticed any coolant loss, so I'm hoping it's not to do with the heater core.

Hopefully it is only your windshield gasket - cowl problems are a lot of work to repair - ask me how I know :slap:

My car did the same thing. The leak was from the drip rails.
