when I did swap to t5, mine was off 10 mph. also went from top loader 4 speed, cable had right pitch 16 gear, had to change to 19 left hand pitch. speed is perfect,2200 rpm is 60 mph. Had this checked, after over 800 miles, pulled cabe, and gear looks like knew. check in the hole where the cable and gear go, with a light, make sure you get the pitch right on the new gear. 302, 370-1, t5, hope this helps.

I could not find one. I did order the new speed gear for the gauge I just wanted to make sure I wasn't speeding too much.

Drive 10 miles on interstate(somewhere there are mile markers) and note percentage of error in mileage, if it looses mileage you need to use gear with less teeth... One tooth equals approx 3mph at 60 mph...

Of course you can do same using a Garman or tom tom etc...

How tall are your tires and were you in 4th gear?

tires are 26.5 and no I was in fifth. I ordered the correct gear for the 3.73 so hopefully it fix the problem. yeah usually there is a radar on my way to work but they are done with construction

The gps thing would be the best way to see. Even the 'right gear' is only right for the vehicle it was designed for with whatever tire and gear it has. Changing tires can change it drasticly.

    Use a portable gps
The low speeds it may not.be off..may be dead on around 30...the. the faster you go the more itll.be off

Theirs mot.its 10mph off ordeal...the faster you.go the more its off

Not the cheapst solution but if you biy a gps speedo or a gps module if you currently have an electric speedo then itll always be spot on no matter what tire combo you add ..
Don't have . to . mess with drive nor driven gears either
.though that will be the cheapest route obviously
