I'd like to replace my stock radio in my 71 maverick with a 3 gauge cluster. Has anyone done this? If so I'd like to see what it looks like so I know if I want to go through with it. Thanks!

Sorry don't have any pics and I have not done it but I have seen pics of it done and also read of some complaints that it's kind of hard to see them in that location.

That's where I've got mine. Visibility is not too bad, I just have to tilt my head a little to see the center one around the steering wheel. But I'm pretty tall, a shorter person would have a different view.

I put my trio farther to the passenger side. I prefer having only glancing to see the gauges. Putting them in the radio opening wud not allow that. This is an old pix; since it was taken, made cover for radio opening and finished the radio pod. My gauges are 2 5/8 variety.

I kinda like this, I'm wondering what about a pillar mount, anybody done one of those?
