I just came up with a 302 roller block that's been fully rebuilt as stock for a good price, so I was wondering what parts I can put on to give a little bit more hp, I have a summit stage 3 4bl aluminum intake, roller lifters (stock), 550 cfm 4bl road demon carb, and long tube headers any recommendations

I assume by "block", you are referring to a shortblock. Was it out of a truck or a Mustang GT application?

Its is a rebuilt engine all it needs is an oil pan, intake, timing cover and valve covers which I have all that. Sorry but I don't really no the difference between short and long block

    No worries.

It is important to know what the engine came out when it comes to camshaft recommendations.

The most power comes from letting the engine breath. Heads, cam, intake, carb, exhaust. Stiffer rear gears for acceleration. Did your engine come with heads? If so, what kind? Carb, intake, and cam won't do a lot if the heads are your choke point.

If it's a stock roller short block (short block assembly is the complete assembled block minus the heads) the comp ratio is pretty much the same, they all had 9-9.5 to 1 with 60-64 cc heads. The 86-93 Mustang assembly had forged pistons, the others cast or hypereutectic. If they're not forged pistons, don't sweat it, it'll still be fine for 99% of uses. Long block includes everything minus the FEAD (front accessory drive and timing cover) and intake and exhaust manifolds.
