Shackle delete

    My comet came to me with the "no-so" factory shackles installed. Wanting to make these go away but have no reference what a factory mount should be or look like. Can anyone post a pic of what it should look like ?

    a lot of times people put shackles like yours on to compensate for weak leaf springs. your ride height suggests that be your case.

    I have a spare set of these. I guess I will replace springs and put these back on when I set the rear end up.
