I need to put my 1976 Mexican Maverick on the road after 15 years of being in storage. It is scheduled to make a 2k mile trip to the States and in preparation for this, I have been lubing and adjusting all the mechanicals on it, but I am running in to a suspension/steering issue. I took it to the Suspension gurus here in Mexico and I was given bad news. Long story short, I was advised to rebuild the entire front end and in good Old Mexico it is going to be a big thing to get. Many parts are usually imported from the USA and I live in Nashville. So I think that it would be good for me to gather all my parts and take them down to my car, have the mechanics over there install them and I would be ready to get her finally home. :bananaman:
However, there are a few questions I need help in finding the right answers considering the fact that I can not afford to get there with my load of parts just to find that I purchased the wrong ones.
    So here they are:
A.- My car is a 76 non power car with manual disc brakes. When I go to the Laurel Mountain Mustang website they offer several kits that have most everything but center link, pitman arm or idler arm. they offer one for 70-72 models, one for 73-75 and one for 76 -77 models. but the pictures for the kits look to be the same but are priced differently. ???
B.- I don't know the quality of this parts from LMM. Anyone has any feedback?
C.- Are there any other choices than LMM?.
D.- I have budgeted 800 dollars for the suspension. Am I under or over budgeting?
Keep in mind my car is just a weekend cruiser that will do mostly garage time and I am not looking for "performance" but just a stock type of suspension.
Thank you all for the input and have a great time!

Have you thought about going to Rock Auto and getting quality Moog parts?

The Laural Mountain parts are for the most part only fair... I had to replace the spring perches as they were noisy from day one, ball joints are machined with a too long of pin, will need washers or spacers under the castle nut(BTW my control arms were made in Mexico)...

You won't find a new center link, Maverick is shorter than anything similar... The idler arm is same as similar year Granada, no problem finding those...

The late control arms I've seen marketed on ebay as Moog appear to to be same stuff I got from Laurel Mountain...
