floor shifter wiring help

    Just installed a B&M shifter and now need to wire up the neutral safety switch and backup lightS. Car is a 74 comet and a previous column shift.
    Can anyone tell me are the wires located in the column or are the located under the dash some where ?

    they are at the base of the steering column right before it goes through the fire wall on the interior side.

    What color wires did you use exactly ?sorry I don't really understand the wiring diagram I'm also 6" 2 so crawling under there is a pain :)
