    71 and 72 GT's had stainless slats on the grill bars. Later GT's have argent painted slats.

    IF the scoop isnt there and the grill doesnt have the stainless and the stripes arent there I dont think you can ever tell unless you can confirm with a pic that showed the license plate with the scoop and or stripes or grill but otherwise I dont think theres a way to prove it
    I dont know if a marti report will reveal a gt package or not. I forget what my marti report said for my 72gt

    Interesting to see the drip rail trim on a GT.
    I know my 72GT had no drip rail trim. (Dearborn plant) .. Maybe 73 and on had that option ?

    71 and 72 had no drip rail moulding unless you had a vinyl top. 73 and later had drip rail moulding.
