I found it easiest to drop the front valence first, which is six bolts and disconnecting the wires to the turn signals then it is four bolts to take off the brackets from the body and then six bolts to get the bumper off the brackets for a Maverick
Given that you are in Ohio, I would recommend soaking the bumper bolts with PB Blaster or other penetrating oil and let it soak in for a few days.
are the turn signals mounted to the bumper or the valance panel, its a maverick, just trying to find out what to expect, sounds pretty simple, plan on taking it off when it gets a little warmer (no heat in the garage and there's not much room without opening the garage door and moving it back , thanks
Four more small bolts to take the turn signals off the bumper, forgot that since I went to a 74 grill long ago, honestly with hand tools and bolts that don't need to be cut off it should take less than 45 minutes depending on the beverage breaks.
We are in the rust belt.....nothing is that fast. Be very careful with the turn signals. It is easy to twist and break the bolts off because they are small. I would remove the bumper first, then take a wire wheel and clean up all the threads on the back side of all the bolts on the bumper as well as the turn signals. Soak with PB blaster....then give it a few days to a week to work its magic.
