Can the old Door Glass Run be pulled out, and a new "run" slid in?
And, Does the "Beltline Weather strip" snap in/out?

    Thanks!

Yes you can, they are pretty easy to replace. You will need to take out the door panel to make it easier.

Beltline snaps! Have to remove the glass to get it out. At least I had to remove mine.

Have to remove the glass? I take it that there is an order of removal. Durning removal of the glass, is it rotated?

Yes! Rotation is in order. Have to remove the plastic pins from window regulator. Handle the plastic pins carefully they are brittle.

I just dropped the glass down out of the track, but you definitely have to move the glass.

I didn,t remove the glass on my Comet. I rolled the glass down, pryed the old belt line weather strip out with a plastic putty knife and snapped the new ones in. Also did the window channel weather strip with out removing the glass. It takes time but I have never removed the glass to do this.

That's interesting to know! I see it makes a difference when one has experience and knows what their doing. I cud never figure a way to do it this way. It was a learning experience though, as I have never removed a side window and I did some other things in the door that having the glass out meant easy access. If I were to do it again I might try it the way you explained.

Ay caramba! I broke the plastic "push-in" retainer window.
Mine was crumbling before I even started.
Know where to buy a new one...make that two?

Thanks everyone. I ordered from Melvin's.
I was able to get the old belt-lines out, and a new outside piece on. But, not enough "wiggle room" to get the inside belt-line in, so I have to remove the window.

As long as you didn't break the glass it's "ALL GOOD"; break the glass and - lots of swearing is in order.

Does anyone have a vender that they purchased "Beltline Weather strip" from and was happy with price, quality and shipping?
