I saw that. I wasn't saying that "you" didn't need that many clips. I meant that you don't need that many clips when installing a regular original replacement type headliner. I guess I really wasn't clear!

No problem, though I did fine the more clips I used the better the glue seemed to stick it lol.

While doing mine I really felt like the glue was wotking so well that I could have done it with no clips at all.

The toughest spot, is the C pillar, getting it tight, with no wrinkles. I did my own, I used 3m headliner glue, brush on.

does it glue right on the metal of the c pillar , I'm going to order one from ak, the windshield has alot of stone chips in it and I really want to replace it so I figured now would probably be the best time to change it , looks to be the original windshield. The upper door jamb rubber needs to be replaced also I have them but been putting off putting them on because of the headliner, car is very solid only rust is under the battery tray, seems like alot of cars have that issue, I already fixed the battery tray(new tray with original bracket, worked out great) patching hole in the apron next then headliner.

Did you remove yours yet? just make notes on how the factory did it, and note where, and what holes the rods were in, since there are more than one hole, and don't loose the "S" clips at the back.
