engine timing or something else?

    hello again an thanks to alway help me with the problems in my car
    i come back to please you guys i have a very stronge problem with my engine
    recently i do this
    change
    cables ,spark plugs,rotor,points,rotor cap,oil oilfilter,valve cover and all the tune up
    i put it on timing and for the first day it worcks very good
    but then the engine start doing this'
    when i try to acelerate it look like its trying to stop or drown the engine
    if ii continue in the road pressing the acelerator very slow like in almost 2 to 3 mins then starting runs almost good probably is the timing but i put it on time and when i first start the engine starts good so what can happen here any one please help me i can post a video to show you guys what exactly this thing do but now i dont have a camera :coco::beaten::bowdown:

    I think you have some timing AND carburetion issues going on here.

    Where is the vacuum source hose for the distributors vacuum advance canister being routed to? A full manifold vacuum source?(vacuum at idle speeds).. or ported/timed?(no vacuum at idle.. only during high idle/more revs)

    ups sorry i dont know what you mean, im not a mecanic i just have some knowl please dont judging me im learning
    and thank you well ,,,,,
    the distributor has two hose one is just not conected and the other one goes to the carburator whats that mean ? what can i do?

    double check that your plug wires are in the right spot.

    I think you have a couple in the wrong place thats why the timing is suddenly off because its sending fire to the wrong plug when you need it

    when you changed your plug wires did you take them all off before putting the new ones on? or did you replace them one at a time while leaving the other old plug wires on until youre done with the first one?


    if you took them all off THEN put the new ones on I BET you crossed a wire
