Rear Sump Oil Pan

    I,m having an issue trying to find a rear sump oil pan for a "77" 302 block. all the ones i have found are for "83" and later. Will the newer pans fit in an older block?

    1972 Comet GT clone 306 . 1969 Fairlane Cobra 428CJ 1988 T-Bird awaiting 331 ..
    Problem is the dip stick tube is in block for rear sump applications and I doubt there will be a hole in a '77 block... Need a pan with dip tube in it...

    Rear sump pan will not clear the steering components on a stock mav frt suspension...

    I,m installing a MII and rack and pinion steering. That's why i need the rear sump pan :)
