rear sway bar

    I seen an article on here awhile ago about a reinforcement plate or something for attaching rear sway bars so you don't crack the frame? I can't seem to find the thread now

    it's just a piece of plate welded to the frame where the sway bar mounts. we installed them on Earl's car...:thumbs2:

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    nice! perfect that is what i had to do to mine AFTER it ripped out of the sub frame! lol!

    There's no need to wrap it around the frame. Just weld some threaded nuts into some 1/8" steel plate and weld it to the bottom of the frame rails. It will look like it belongs there.

    Well, it doesnt hurt to spread the load out and a little more metal is not going to hurt.
    In the end, it all depends on how far you go to make it look like it belongs there.
