I found a guy local who has a solid grabber hood ,grabber trunk lid with both end pieces and a driver side and passenger side early front fenders in great shape ,he wants 600.00 for all and wont separate

Before I bought my carbon fiber grabber hood I saw a steel one go for about $500. If you don't need/want any of the other parts you can always sell them to get some of your money back.

Sounds like a fair price. Buy the 'lot' keep what you want and sell the rest. Probably will end up not having that much tied up in the hood.

    Sounds like a fair deal.

I'd offer $500 and see if they'll take it. If it were just the hood, I'd say no way. But for the other parts, and if the fenders have no rust, I'd definitely do it.

Wow, that really sucks. I remember a time when nobody cared about Maverick stuff. Times have changed.

times have defiantly changed maverick stuff is really hot right now. it will slow down a little in a few months toward christmas and january but by march it will be on again.

I think its the timing of it. everything 70's is getting htf because all of the 60's and older stuff has either been grabbed up by hoarders or resellers that want a fortune for there parts since a few guys have paid over end of the rainbow prices

You snooze you lose I would not have hesitated on a price like that but having the cash to do it is a different story, I like many other sellers of Maverick and Comet parts can tell you stories of what stuff sold for years back and it sells for 300% more now

Just saw this post and I bought the parts your speaking of including a front valence he forgot to list, he said it was because I was first to contact him. Looked at text messages and I contacted him Monday at 12:58pm and like you he said he would send pics Friday. Don't know when you contacted him but hopefully it was after I did as he claimed. Sorry Maverick7072. Just didn't want you thinking I bought them from under you as hopefully we will see each other at a Gadsden First Friday or somewhere.

Gadsden is an awesome show the first Friday of every month year round. 7 city blocks long with cars parked in both middle lanes and then the angle parking on both sides and on the side streets. Lots of food vendor, numerous corners with bands, performers etc. 2015-05-25-20-48-11-572694459.jpeg
