does anybody know of any window trim clips that will fit a 1973 maverick? I ordered some on ebay, but the seller contacted me today and told me that he no longer has those clips in the his supplier is no longer making them. So I don't know what to do about replacing my corroded window trim clips.

    :Welcome:

Put an ad in the forum "wanted" classifieds. The guys that part out cars have them.

They are in the Melvins catalog.

Also, if you have a shop around you that does restorations, they will have them. They may or may not part with them - depends on the owner and how friendly he is.

Check out your local Fastenal if you have one. I have heard (but have not verified) that they sell them.

Well I know they are available online. I actually worked at the local hot rod shop for a while after college and we had variety packs of clips, I am wondering if mustang clips of the same era are the same? Ford was much better at having standardized stuff beffore the 90s, so why wouldn't they use the same clips for the trim on multiple cars? Fastenal is a good idea, I might have to try it. I am also wondering what the difference is in 1972 clips vs 1973 clips, because 1972 clips are available on eBay.
